Well, it’s Monday again! Here are a few tips for a better work day to help you stay focused this dreadful Monday morning.

Tip #1 – Dress comfortably (if possible) Worrying about what you are wearing can be distracting. Ladies, opt for a loose-fitted outfit paired with some cute slip ons or if it is not too hot, a pair of comfy boots. Men, anything a little loose-fitted should do 🙂

Tip #2 – Play Some Tunes Go to and play some G-rated old school music. This will lighten your mood and won’t bother anyone.

Tip #3 – Make a To-Do List Your day is sure to move along much faster if you jot down a list of tasks and follow it. Try to think of a few important things you can tackle today that will make your boss proud!

Tip #4 – Go Large on Your Favorite Drink Yes! Get a nice size of your favorite coffee or tea and bask in its deliciousness with no care in the world as you go about your day.

Tip #5 – Organize Take a few minutes to clear your desk or office of any clutter. Also, clean the desktop to your computer. This will give you a refreshing feeling that will allow you to work in a less stress-free environment….for the most part 😉 I know that when my desk is covered in bright neon post-its I just want to run in the opposite direction!

Overcome Your Insecurities When It Comes To Love

I have never been good at love. Until recently, I had only given one guy all of me. He was my first and my only but, he broke my heart. He was so cruel but so loveable and unknowlingy I realized it one day. I walked away yet I felt as though I could not live without him. It changed my views on dating, sex, love. I doubted anyone who ever cared about me but I just couldn’t help but want to be loved again. I grew so tired of pushing everyone away so I did something about it by changing what I felt inside. I would like to share with you my positive thoughts that helped me overcome my insecurities when it came to love.

Remember you ARE good enough, you DESERVE to be and feel loved and you ARE capable of loving back. You have been hurt and that makes you the victim, so stop treating yourself like the suspect. You are punishing yourself with hurt and sadness and you know that this is not what you want.

I know what you might be thinking, “I do not want to be hurt again.” But, as I mentioned in one of my earlier posts, “You cannot change the way people feel, think or do unless you have obtained a certain power over them…” Love makes you loyal, but what you need to see is that when love is lost so is loyalty, you have the right to walk away and to forget if that love is gone. Do that for your own sake. Hurt is your wound and forgetting is your way of healing.

Do not just let your insecurities eat away at you and deter you from finding love and affection. I did all this myself and I found love. I found happiness with someone who I never doubted from the very beginning. I allowed him to see the truth in me, not the scared and doubtful thoughts that kept me hidden. Keep your eyes OPEN for that. Those are the people who can show you what true love and friendship is all about. It will not change over night, it takes time to learn to love again but in the end you will find happiness if you allow yourself to accept what others have done to make you build up this wall. Tear it down, tear it all down.
